 Invention Technique Usually when writing I start with the basic questions that are provided for us. I start just rambling and answering the question. Then I go back in and fix what I said and fill the paragraphs that need more in them.  Ad analysis questions examples: - Why you chose this ad - The main argument the ad is making    1Hoe ethos, logos, and pathos are at work in the ad -The audience you think the ad is targeting - Why you think the ad is effective

In the assignment we were supposed to find a protest song and write about what they were protesting. For awhile I struggled with finding a good protest song. Then I decided to go through the list that Mrs.Nall had given us and watch the music videos to them. This songs music video really stuck out to me. It was entertaining and really got the point of the protest across.  Rough Draft I had a few small mistakes at first which I later went back and fixed. Those mistakes were things like saying Taylor Swifts full name instead of just using her last name after I already introduced her. In this assignment we were supposed to pick an ad and show how they used ethos, logos or pathos. When I was first looking for an ad I searched around for a little bit then saw this bright pink ad. It caught my eye right away. Rihanna has done several ads for Covergirl, but this one really stood out for me. This ad was published in 2007 in several magazines. Around the same time that Rihanna published the song Umbrella. Umbrella was a huge hit. Rihanna was at her peek and getting a lot of fans and attention. The song Umbrella now has over 900 million views on YouTube. This assignment was a hometown narrative. We were all supposed to tell a little bit about our hometown. When we were given this assignment my mind went straight to our football team, but I needed a way to tie my own experience into that. I thought there was no better way than to talk about me cheering at the football games, and what lead up to me being a cheerleader at Bryant high school.
